I'm Angie. I'm the Assistant Principal Administrator. And also, I'm a teacher at CCE. I have more than 12 years teaching experience. I love teaching because I am also learning so many new things about my job and people.

In my free time I like to enjoy the natural areas of this beautiful country. I also love music, dancing, swimming, reading, and hanging out with my cat.

The most important thing about being an Australian is to understand and appreciate the balance between our work and free time. That's why I am so proud to be one!

Andrew

Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm from the U.S. originally, but I have been living and working in Cairns since 2008. I previously taught English in both South Korea and Japan and enjoy being in the classroom and getting to know our students. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family. We live near the beach, so I'm able to take my big, fluffy dog for a walk on the beach every day. I hope you'll come to Cairns and study with us. You can meet lots of cool people and when you aren't studying, you can relax here in the tropics.

Hi, I'm Ian Hill, Director of Studies at CCE. I mainly look after the teaching side of our business including our curriculum, materials as well as teaching. I have lived and worked in Australia for 20 years, after studying and working first in South Africa and then England. In Melbourne and Cairns I have taught and managed various kinds of English courses at private language schools, university and TAFE. Because of my love for wildlife and the bush, I live on a big property 40 km South of Cairns and spend my free time landscaping and trying to discover the lifecycle of rare Australian butterflies. If you love nature and appreciate the outdoors, Cairns is a great place to come. I hope to see you here one day soon!

Hi, I’m Vanessa.  I’m originally from Sydney, but have enjoyed the relaxed tropical lifestyle of Cairns for the last 3 years.  I have travelled the world extensively and worked in England, Ireland, Greece, Thailand and Argentina.
For the last 6 months I have been the Activities Coordinator and an English Teacher here at Cairns College.  I am addicted to Fun!  There is so much to do in Cairns and I love sharing it with our international students.
I enjoy music, travel, surfing, diving, cycling, entertaining reading and writing.
